Health problems, reduced mobility, the loss of a loved ones and other stressful events can take a toll on our emotional health, but you do not have to face these struggles alone. You or someone who cares about you can request a Senior Peer Mentor. Senior Peer Mentors are trained volunteers who will assist you using proven strategies for positive change. The service is free and confidential appointments occur in the privacy of your own home or care facility. You will work together, utilizing a workbook model, to identify steps to tackle depression and/or anxiety. Each appointment is approximately 1 hour per week.
