Help out homeless pets Saturday The Daily Astorian Clatsop Animal Assistance is holding a fundraiser, which benefits the dogs and cats at the Clatsop County Animal Shelter, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the Fort George Lovell Show- room. The event features raffles, a silent auction, pet pictures with Santa and a bake sale. The raffle prize is a high-end Phantom 4 Drone from DJI with a retail value of $1,400. Tickets cost $10 each, and can be pur- chased at the event or by calling Linda Dygert at 503-861-0737. The drawing is at 3 p.m. Satur- day; being present at the event is not required to win. Smaller raffle item winners will be announced during the day. All proceeds will go to help the Clatsop County shelter dogs and cats with veterinary care and adoption promotions.
