Suzanne Bonamici will be in Asto- ria and Seaside this weekend talking with constituents. Bonamici, D-Oregon, will CANNON BEACH — The Cannon Beach Police Depart- ment is trying to fi nd a woman who may be in danger and a male suspect. A resident witnessed Shane A. Lynn assaulting and pos- sibly kidnapping Ariana K. Miller in Cannon Beach on Sept. 27, Police Chief Jason Schermerhorn said . The witness saw the suspect punching Miller in the head. When Lynn noticed the witness, Lynn grabbed Miller and drove away, according to police. After the incident, Seaside P olice offi cers located the sus- pect vehicle at Safeway. When the offi cers approached the vehicle to talk , Lynn escaped visit Buoy Beer Co. in Astoria from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Satur- day. She will visit Neawana by the Sea in Seaside from 10 to 11 a.m. Sunday. “I always enjoy traveling around n orthwest Oregon and talking with constituents about the issues facing our state and our country,” Bonamici said in a release . “Those conversa- tions are an important part of my job, and they inform my work in Washington, D.C.” Cannon Beach Police Ariana Miller and Shane Lynn. by driving over the grass median, Schermerhorn said. The suspect vehicle, which has now been listed as stolen, has the Oregon license plate 795-DPS. The front license plate is missing.
