Bryon Earl Freniere, 33, of
Warrenton, for driving under
the infl uence of intoxicants
and hit and run on the 200
block of West Marine Drive.
Freniere reportedly crashed
into a pillar, then tried to
drive off onto the Asto-
ria Riverwalk, according to
police.
Drug arrests
• On Thursday, Clat-
sop County Sheriff’s Offi ce,
Astoria Police and Pacifi c
County Sheriff’s Offi ce
arrested fi ve people on
drug-related charges on the
400 block of Bond Street in
Astoria.
Michael Douglas Cooper,
46, was found with about 22
grams of crystal methamphet-
amine packaged for deliv-
ery, scales, packaging mate-
rial and a restricted weapon,
according to offi cials.
