That travel has brought him to Ethiopia, Ja- maica, Japan, Thailand, In- dia, eastern Europe and more in search of “people stories.” Through the medium of photographic series, Tesin- sky aims to express the deep views of his chosen subjects: “Children of Islam” pres- ents revolutionary youths of Iran; “Jah People” docu- ments the living legends of Reggae music and the culture of Rastafarians in Jamaica; “Dictator or Gay” captures gay and lesbian activists in Belarus, punks in Berlin, ex- orcism in Ethiopa and prosti- tution in Thailand, revealing the dynamics of subcultures through vivid, up-close and personal photography. Eventually, Tesinsky end- ed up enrolling in a photog- raphy school.
