Public Notice
TO THE SHAREHOLDERS OF WESTERN WAHKIAKUM TELEPHONE
AND THE PUBLIC:
Whereas, Western Wahkiakum Telephone and (i.e. the Washington
Public Service Corporation, “Western Wahkiakum Telephone Co., of
Rosburg, WA), in the person of one Steven M. Appelo, (said to be its
“executive officer”), did file a lawsuit against LOIS DUPEY, owner-
occupant of property whose address is 312 Knappton Rd., Naselle
WA, and
Whereas, said lawsuit was filed in SUPERIOR COURT OF
WASHINGTON, COUNTY OF PACIFIC, “WESTERN WAHKIAKUM
VS DUPEY” NO. 14-2-00264-7, and
Whereas, said lawsuit seeks to obtain on behalf of Western Wahkiakum
(Plaintiff) ownership through a court order of an area of land to the
north of a 25x25 foot parcel of property Plaintiff has purchased from
the Naselle Finnish Lutheran Church in 1952, which consists of the
access area in front of the door of LOIS DUPEY and co-owner
CLIFFORD SHOWALTERʼS property at 312 Knappton Rd., and
Whereas Plaintiff has neither ever acquired said property nor ever
adversely possessed it, in accordance with the legal definition of
“adverse possession”, and
Whereas, this Defendant does dispute all of the allegations made by
Plaintiff as to its ownership of the access area in front of her doorway,
and
Whereas an award of the court would preclude legal entry to the building
that is the residence of LOIS DUPEY and
Whereas, Plaintiff, in Defendantʼs opinion, has sought to conduct this
lawsuit in a predatory manner, without properly serving Defendants
under rules of civil process, the mountain of documents created by
Plaintiffʼs Attorneys, also seeking attorneys fees and effectively baring
Defendant from her residence and seeking to deprive her of it, and
Whereas, with proceedings, mostly conducted in secret, in the absence
of knowledge of Defendant, and for all of these reasons, and otherwise
violating her civil rights and
Whereas, this Defendant has only by accident learned that a hearing
was scheduled to have her rights to a jury trial vacated, she does
herewith request a public hearing into the actions of the court and the
Plaintiff, Wahkiakum West.
Whereas, the beginning of the hearings will be conducted at the Naselle
Timberland Library from 5 to 7 pm on Monday January 11th and 18th
2016, where this defendant will take testimony from the public as to the
claim of ownership that Mr. Appelo made under oath in his affadavit
when he filed this lawsuit.
Defendant has asked the U.S. Justice department to investigate the
actions of Mr. Appelo, and requested $50 million dollars in punitive
damages against Plaintiff, regarding this suit. PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 1,
submitted by Defendant, LOIS DUPEY, for publication to DAILY
ASTORIAN 12/30/2015.
