This water ¿tness class is designed for cardio and strength training, yet gentle on the joints. Swimming is not required for the class, conducted in a 3- to 5-foot- deep heated pool. Beach balls and foam noodles are provided free for class use and enjoyment. As an add- ed bonus, students are given basic water health and safety tips, and will play some wa- ter games. Aquanastics is held from 9 to 9:50 a.m. or 10 to 10:50 a.m. Tuesdays and Thurs- days beginning Nov. 3 and running through Dec. 15. Only 12 students can attend each section. The cost is $35.00. The course is taught by Kathleen Hudson, an e[pe- rienced instructor who holds several certi¿cations in aqua aerobics.
