This one-day conference will take place on the CCC main campus, 1651 Lexington Ave., on Saturday, Sept. 12. Regis- tration opens at 8:30 a.m., and conference sessions will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. A com- plimentary lunch is included. A suggested donation for the conference is $10 at the door. Seating is limited, and pre-registration is requested by Monday, Sept. 7 by calling 503- 894-0187 or emailing rmcclel- land@clatsopcc.edu The Conference on Extraor- dinary Living will show attend- ees how to live life to the fullest. Thirteen informative breakout sessions will be offered on topics such as: travel tips and informa- tion, nutrition for a healthy life, genealogy, hiking and national park trails,emergency and di- saster preparedness, alternative medicine, volunteer and con- tinuing education opportunities, transitioning to retirement and numerous other topics. In an effort to keep music acces- sible and affordable to all, they offer the option of donating a can of food for the local food bank as entry.
