There were more than 100 entries in the parade, about 30 vehicles in the classic vehicle show and 14 motorcy- cles in the tailgate party. After graduating from St. John’s College in Santa Fe, N.M., in 2010, Johnson took a year off to travel and sail traditional square-riggers before starting the program at USMMA, one RIWKH¿YHIHGHUDOVHUYLFHDFDGHPLHVDQGVHYHQ maritime academies in the country. While there, she completed a year of sea time sailing as a cadet, including trips to the Middle East, Asia, and participation in Operation Deep Freeze to refuel McMurdo Base, Antarctica.
