peting in the toughest re-
gion in the state for 4A
schools, the Seaside boys
golf team cruised to one of
their most impressive wins
of the season Tuesday at
Meriwether National Golf
Club.
The Gulls shot a team

was good enough for a
two-round total of 629 and
a 42-stroke victory over
second-place Valley Catho-

And speaking of the
state tournament, the Gulls
will be a huge favorite, the

Quail Valley Golf Course
in Banks.
“We had a good day
(Monday), then followed
it with a great day today,”
Seaside coach Jim Poetsch
said. “We are playing some
really good golf at the right
time of the year, and we are
looking forward to what

nament and handily beat
some very good golfers. He
told me earlier that his goal
