Approximately 150 volunteers are needed to cover the event to be door/alcohol monitors (142 shifts), roaming alcohol monitors (18 shifts), to man the information booth (six shifts), and serve as alter- nates (seven shifts). Volunteer orientation is from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Clatsop County Fairgrounds. Available shift times are as follows: • April 24: 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.; and 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. • April 25: 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; 1:30 to 5:15 p.m.; and 5 to 8:30 p.m. • April 26: 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Two shuttle buses run constantly from Astoria High School from 2:30 to 9:30 p.m. April 24, 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. April 25, and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 26. The perks of volunteer- ing include free admission to the festival, a complimentary 2015 wine glass (while sup- plies last) for those doing two or more shifts, and free pizza during the volunteer orienta- tion.
