Warrenton freshman pitcher Niqui Blodgett got stronger as the game pro- gressed and finished with 14 strikeouts, while giving up four hits and three walks. The Warriors scored a run in the bottom of the sixth to tie the game, as they took advantage of two Willamina errors and a passed ball, with Blodgett scoring on the sec- ond error. Willamina had back-to- back singles with one out in the top of the ninth, but Blodgett was able to work her way out of the jam, and the Bulldogs stranded both runners.
