The committee is host- ing an open house at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Bob Chisholm Community Cen- ter, 1225 Avenue A. The group will unveil its draft plan. The committee already has taken public input re- ceived in August and de- veloped a phased plan for the park. In addition to the public, the committee will seek input from the Parks Advisory Council, the Sun- set Empire Park and Recre- ation District, the Seaside Chamber of Commerce, the Seaside Downtown Develop- ment Association and others EHIRUH¿QDOL]LQJDSODQ The committee’s goal is to implement the plan this sum- mer starting with invasive species removal. Two minors arrested after hit and run SEASIDE — At about 9:41 p.m. Saturday, Seaside Police officers responded to a motor vehicle accident near 220 North Downing St. Jose Alberto Liz- ardi-Aguilar, 19, was ar- rested on charges of hit and run with property damage, reckless driving, hit and run with injury to passengers and himself, two charges of reckless endangerment, assault in the third degree, two charges of alluding a police officer, minor in pos- session, driving uninsured, driving without privileges or with restrictions, improp- er lighting equipment and driving under the influence of intoxicants. Besides Lizardi-Aguilar, there were two passengers in the vehicle. One of the passengers, Max Wesley Huddleston, 19, also was arrested on charges of fail- ure to perform the duties of a witness, two charges of criminal mischief, minor in possession, possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of a weapon. Huddleston was released in Seaside to a sober, re- sponsible person.
