Gardeners can swap seeds White Clover Grange holds exchange NEHALEM — Give Seeds a Chance: Second Annual Seed Exchange will take place from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7 at the White Clover Grange, lo- cated at 36585 Oregon Highway 53. The event is free and open to the public. This event is an opportuni- ty for gardeners and visitors to VZDSKHUEYHJHWDEOHÀRZHUDQG native plant seeds, and exchange information. In addition, there will be a seed cleaning demon- stration at 1 p.m., and at 1:30 p.m. and Joel Caris of Food Roots will host a discussion about the role local gardeners have to play in their community’s resilience and security. Screens for clean- ing seeds will also be available. Everyone is invited to bring seeds they have collected or extra commercially packaged seeds they no longer want.
