THE DAILY ASTORIAN • WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 14, 2015
“When budgets are delayed in passing,
withhold legislators’ pay.”
“It’s a ‘mom’ answer. Probably some
cuts to the military budget, and add to
education.”
Peter Grant, Astoria
Mindy Bizzell, Astoria
“Politicians’ wages.”
“Not something that would take away
jobs, or food stamps, or health care.
Politicians’ wages.”
“Not the military. I would say politicians’
wages. I think they’re way too overfunded.”
Jack Nicholson, Astoria
Lorey Steppe, Chinook, Wash.
Amy Jensen, Astoria
‘If you could, what would you
cut in the federal budget?’
