SWEGO, April 12. The Oswego
Portland highway work began the first
of this week. Heavy barracades were
erected across the bridge at Wilsonia
Monday, and it is the understanding
that the laying of the cement will be

Plans were made to organize a volley
ball and baseball team of the girls and

Games and music were enjoyed and re
freshments were served by the hostess.
Mrs. M. Reefs, who was operated on
