W. W. Qulnn has at his place at
Canemah a tree of luscious large
plums that ho propogated. Ho calls
them the "Qulnn Perfection." He has
a half ton of these plums . Just ripen
ing. A sample of them sent to Wash
ington, D. C, were pronounced an
'entirely new variety and of the finest
kind of plum. They received a gold
medal at the Lewis and Clark exposi
tion, The plums weighed 8 ounces
more than any other plum In the
Clackamas county exhibit at the fair.
The weather has no effect on the
blossoms; the tree bears perfect
