Expense account of f."8.30 allowed. Report of viewers on the M. F. Ambler application for change in Holl'iday terri torial road filed and approved, new road ordered open, the supervisor to use the labor of peiiiioners only for that purpose and upon competition of new road the old will be ordered vacated. Expense account of lil.tW allowed. Report of viewers in the change in Union school houe and Oresham roud filed and approved and upon report of the supervisor of road district No. 1 to the effect that the new road has been made as good as the old it will be ordered opened. Report of viewers in Burkliardt road approved and supervisor ordered to open new road with labor of petitioners. Expense account of allowed. Renort of appraisers of damages on Oswego and Springbrook road laid over till the November term. Resignation of V. V. Jesse vs Justice of the 1'eace of district No. 7 accepted and J, D. Ritter appointed to fill the vacancy. Clerk ordered to issue a warrant in favor of II. S. Gibson, county superin tendent for the sum of 70 on account of quarterly payment for school district repurta in lieu of the fees. Order of September term cancelling warrants rescinded eo laras warrant ll'Jl drawn in favor of J. H larling is con vened and the treasurer directed to pay the same in its proper order. W. II. Smith supervisor of road district No. 2 reported as lollowa: pended for material f 1 IG.-M5 ; lulxir, 1103.35 ; supervision fX; total $23U8l. G. W. Prosser snpr isor of district 5o. 5 reported expenditure for labor of $50.50; material, $102.48; total $152 PS. Report of P. S. Fliterotr upon the improvement of the Oregon City and Appersou road approved and expense account of $541.12 ordered paid. Resignat on of Asa Bullock as con stable of District No. 2 accepted and W. H. Welch appointed to fill the va cancy. Report of Sidney Smyth as to amount of extra earth excavated at Grimm's hluffby the contractors approved and clerk ordered to issue a warrant in favor id Payne 4 Connsell for the turn of $529. in full payment for said extra work. Report of A. W. Cooke relative to the improvement of the Baker'a Bridge and Fagalda's Mill road having been approved by the judge on the 12th day of September and the Clerk having issued warrants in payments therefore (or $1675, the action of the clerk is approved. Action upon petition of C. T. Tooze for reduction of rates at Boone's ferry Twwtimnnl till Novermber 9 at 10 A. M. r - i Ivy M. Sawtell and Mattie R. Leavitt appointed to free scholarships at the State Agricultural College. A. W. Cooke, supervisor of district No. 1 reported as follows : Labor, $197.75 ; material $129.03; supervision, $40; total $366.78. Report approved . Upon the recommendation of A. W. C.nnVn Rtinervisoi of road district No. 1 there was appropriated $300 to be ex pended bv the supervisor in completing the grade and graveling the Milwaukee and Foster road. He was also intruded to procure the necessary material and repair the bridges reported in need of repairs. Clerk ordered to issue warrants upon the county fund upon the report of Supervisor Cooke to the amount of $314 25 toward expense of Baker Bridge and Fanalda Mill road. Claim of John Locke for damages during riot at Champoeg not allowed. Contract awarded lien C Irwin & Co. to furnish books for the county records, to be supplied upon order of the county judge. Report of It. Scott upon the comple tion of the Johnson Creek bridge ap proved and clerk ordered to insue a war rant in favor of the Pacific Bridge Co. for $1634.00 in full payment. E. P. Carter supervisor of district No. 4 reported as follows for September: expended for material $0.8!) ; labor, $60.75 total $70.64. Report approved and ex pense account ordered paid. Petition of Chas. I)e Chatnnlane for license to sell malt and spirituous Honors in Oswego precinct granted and clerk instructed to issue a license to cover the term of six months. Supervisor W. H. Smith ordered to procure the necessary material and re build the bridge across Beaver Creek at Enoa Cab ills. Proposition of George Broughton to imrchase part of old plank on suspension bridge accepted. Ordered that the susjiension bridge at OseironCitv be redecked without un- uecessary delay, and John Baxter ap- jointd to do the work under the super vision of the county indue. County judge authorized to employ a suitable person to make a list ol the delinquent taxes for the years from 1887 la 1891 inclusive. The allowance of $2 per month here tofore paid to the city night watch ordered discontinued from date. Milium and Per diom allowed as follows: V. Hair, 3 days, 2S miles $11.80; 1 day extra 18 miles $4.80. WARRANTS ORPKRRD PRAWN.
