to the snow, which is falling rapid

Dr. H. S. Mount, who has been in
New York for several weeks taking
a post-graduate course, returned to
this city Monday with his wife, who
had accompanied him. Dr. and Mrs.
Mount made the trip by the southern
route and report a very pleasant Jour
ney, stopping at various cities through
the southern tier of states.

sorted the family, and the plaintiff
was compellei to provide for her chil
dren for a period of seven years.

Evans, in Canby, Friday. Deceased
was 80 years of age, and well known

services were held the following

Dies at Canby.

years pastor of the German Evangel
ical church at Canby, died at that
place Sunday morning. He was 60
years of age, and with his family
came to Oregon from Michigan. He
is survived by'liia wife, a daughter
and three sons. The funeral services
were held Tuesday afternoon from the
church where he was pastor. The re-
