This is all the more remark able wIipu the fact is considerpd that He (loos no appear opon the stago. ' Mr. Bennett lias so liigeniously and masterfully conjured up the atmos phere of those bitter days. 2000 years ago, when the Son of God met his death upon the hill of Calvary in ex piation for the sins of man, that the spectator unconBoiously feels the near ness of the Teauher and Guide who is so constantly referred to. Thin is one of the teasons that has prompted so many clergymen to heart ily endorse the play and to recom mend it not only to professing Chris tians, but to all seekers after truth whatever their faith. The play is not an adaptation of the scriptural story. It is the scriptural story with out alteration or change, the narra tive recorded by the evangelists. Thore is an added, story which deals with the love of Salome, the daughter of Herodins, for Marius, a young Ro man, but that is entirely separate and tlintiuct and does not detract from the othre story of the pi-rseoution, death and glorious resurrection of the Christ. The play is presented by a com pany of rare excellence. Nearly all of the parts are character parts and playors having especial facility in the delineation of strongly marked roles were choson for the principal characters. The settings are usually ornate, maseivu and rich, and the costuming is lavish in the extreme. MAKES ASTONISHING CURES. Ml-o-na Tablets Cure Dyspepsia by Prompty Removing the Cause, or Moaey Back. Mi-o-ua is a soiont irlo and effeotive reuiody for the permauent cure of in digestion. 'ood is digested in the stomach by moans of a churning movement of the walls of the stomach, which thor oughly mixes the food with the gas trio ar stomach juices. If the muscular walls are flabby and lack tone or energy, the stomach can not churn the food proporly, and the digestive juices are not properly mixed with the tood. This oauses indigestion. The com mon symptoms are : weight and full nes after meals, coated tongue, bad taste in the mouth, discharges of wind from the mouth, and beloliing of sour material. Dyspasia cannot be cured by taking a disgustor, such as pepsin, bocause pepsin simply digests your food artificially, aud not all of the food either, for it has no ell'ect at all ou starchy food, such as potatoes, rice, oatmeal, bread, etc. There is just one way to cure dys pepsia and stomach disorders, trivial or serious, and that is to tone up or put energy into the stomach walls, so that they will be able to properly mix ortrtiurii the food. Mi-o-na tablets ouro stomach trou bles by putting strengh and energy in to the stomach. Thoy quickly arouse the stomach from its inaction, and in a short time it is able to do its work properly. : And bear jn miud "that whan, the utomaoh is in good condition, consti pation disappears, also nervousness, drowsiness, night sweats, heartburn, etc. Jones Drug Co. sells Mi-o-ua tablets under a rigid guarantee to do all that is olainied for them, or mouoy back, The residents of Roseburg and Douglas oounty are np in arms over tho act that the prunes raised in that county are, after boing packed, la beled as a Salem produot.
