ORDINANCE NO An ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 400, approved Sept. 14th, 1907, en titled "An Ordinance to prevent the obstruction of Streets." Oregon City does ordain as follows: That Section 4 of Ordinance No. 400, approved Sept. 14th, 1907, entitl ed "An Ordinance to prevent the ob Btruction of streets, bo, and the same is hereby amended to read as fol lows: Soc. 4. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance, upon conviction thereof, shall be lin ed in any sum not. exceeding $25.00 or by impi'osinnient in the City Jail not exceeding fifteen days. Provided that each day that any hitch ing-poBl or hltchlng-racks Is maintained con trary to the provisions of.'tliis ordi nance shall bo deemed a separate of fence. And further mfwypinoifwyp fonse. And provided furthor, that the City Council may direct and empower the Street Commissioner or other of ficer, to remove such hitchlng-posts or racks, or other device maintained contrary to the provisions of this or dinance, and the cost of such removal shall be a lien against the property opposite which such hitch-lug post or rack is attempted to be maintained.
