White, field deputies of county Assessor; Ordered that said appoint ments be and the same are hereby ap proved. In the matter of the petition of George Randall for tax rebate; order ed that the clerk draw warrant for 2.38 In favor of George Randall. In the matter of report of viewers on the Stone Road; ordered read first time, and laid over one day for sec ond reading. Ill the matter of the Griffin W. Jone3 oad; ordered laid over until the June term of this court. In the matter of the improvement of the Glad Tidings and Soda Springs road in road district No. 28; ordered that said road be improved by Super visor of said District at a cost not to exceed $150.00. In the matter of the Christian John son road; ordered that viewers moet at place of beginning of said road on the 25th day of May, 1908. In the matter of the report of Dis trict Attorney on the Charles L. Hunter road; ordered that said report be adopted and said road be establish ed as a county road and ordered opened. In he matter of the Elmer Edwards road; ordered that objections of Dis trict Attorney be overruled and that the matter be laid over until next term of this court for investigation. In the matter of report of District Attorney on the Stone road; ordered that said report be adopted and said road is hereby ordered opened. In the matter of subscription for improvement of the Thayer road; or dered that subscription be duplicated with county money not to exceed $200. In the matter of vacation of Sev enth street between blocks 53, 54 and 55, Whitcomb Avenue, Milwaulde Heights; ordered that when a plat is filed as provided by law, the petition for said vacation be granted. In the' matter of petition of C. C, Yeater for county road; ordered that same be laid over until June term of this court. In the matter of improvement of certain county road leading from the bridge near mouth of Tualatin river, south over Pete's Mountain; ordered that said road be improved under su pervision of road district 34 at a cost not to exceed $700. In the matter of report of viewers on the Taylor Road; ordered read first time and laid over until May 8th, 1908, for second reading. In the matter of petition of George E. Oglesby and others for a county road; ordered that viewers meet at place of beginning of said road on the 23d day of May, 1908. In the matter of report of viowers on the O. B. Taylor road; Read sec ond time and referred to District At torney for opinion. In the matter of the petition of O. S. Boyles and others for a county road; ordered laid over until June term. In the matter of the petition of N. P. Hult and others for a county road; ordered that viewers meet at place of beginning of said road on the 25th day of May, 1908. In the matter of the petition of A. S. Henderson for a county road; or dered that said matter be laid over until June term. In the matter of petition of Wiley May for purchase of tax certificates for years 1904, 1905, and 1906, on lot 8, block 4, Mountain View Addition to Oregon City; ordered that said peti tion be granted and the clerk is or dered to assign certificates upon re ceipt of amount due thereon of $5.50. In the matter of petition of the Mt. Hood and Barlow Road Company; ordered that rate of toll over and across said road for year 1908, for either the old Barlow route, terminat ing at Gate Creek, or Oak Grove route terminating at Oak Grove, be as follows: , Each automobile $2.50 Each four wheeled vehicle drawn by one span or yoke of horses, mules or oxen 2.50 Each additional snan or yoke 50 Each two or four wheeled vehi cle drawn by one horse or mule 1.50 Each saddle horse with rider.. .75 Each horse or mule with pack.. .40 Each horse or - mule loose 20 Each head of cattle loose 15 Each head of sheep, goats or hogs 3 It Is further ordered that the rate of toll from the western terminus to point in the vicinity of Mt. Hood shall be one full toll for the round trip, and that the Company be allow ed to collect tolls at tb present toll gate.
