The Peerless Potters, world's great est aerlialsts, with the Greater Norrls & Rowe circus, museum, menagerie, hippodrome and congress of nations, which will exhibit in Oregon City Sat urday afternoon and night May 9th, were brought to this country direct from their triumphal engagement at the Hippodrome, London, England. These performers are American by birth, but have spent most of their time in the capitals of Europe, where their sucess has been tremendous. They are undoubtedly the highest salaried performers in their line in the world. During the run if the big circus In SanFrancisco this Spring 279,873 persons paid admission during the run of sixty consecutive perfor mances, and the Peerless Potters had he place of honor on the long program that consisted of sensational features. The press of the city were unanimous in acording the Peeless Potters to be the world's greatest artists. Their flights through space are thrilling in extreme. They turn full double twists and tripple somersaults sixty feet in the air and catch by their hands and feet as graceful as butterflies. There are seven performers in the troupe. I. 0. 0. F. Building Dedicated. The Sandy I. O. O. F. building was dedicated on last Saturday evening, when there were about 250 people to witness the Impressive ceremony. No cause is given for the terrible deed, as Mr. Berdine'8 domestic surroundings had always been pleasant. Mr. Berdine was 30 years of age last September. About six years ago he was married to Miss Nellie Bevens, of Willamette, and to them a little daughter was born. Mr. Berdine leaves besides his wife and daughter; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Berdine, three sisters, . Mrs. Jacob Reams and Miss Arda Berdine, of Willamette; Mrs. Harley Miller, of Oregon City; Harry, Eddie and Earl, of Willamette. The body was brought to Oregon City Sunday evening, and taken to the home of his parents at Willamette, The funeral was held at 2:36 o'clock Monday afternoon, and the re mains interred in the Mountain View cemetery.
