Mr. and Mrs. Stllwell were callers here last Sunday. The separation of Mr. and Mrs. Wal- ter Bonner came as a great surprise to their many friends here, as both were highly respected and well thought of by every one they were acquainted with. Both worked hard and made a nice comfortable home. The parties had no serious trouble but what could have been amicably adjusted by themselves. The neighbors regret that such hasty action was taken. CARDS It does one good to run about the country occasionally and see how thinga are moving. Were delighted to see how Oregon City is growing. The streets are in good shape, clean and nice and the fronts of the business houses are up to the times and new buildings going up in every direction. And through all the country every thing is booming. Each part of the country is vlelng with every other part for good roads. Speaking of good roads, let us call the attention of the farmers to the advlslbillty of keeping the roads clear of sweet briars, wild, roses thistles, etc. A half days work once In a while make the view pleasanter to the strangers passing through the country. After the County has graded and macadamized the road, the owners of the land ought to keep down the wild brambles and all rubbish out of sight. Probably never again will such a large num ber of valuable Seperator improvements be brought forth as are now shown in the new improved 1908 De Laval machines. After thirty years of ceasless testing and experimenting, the really perfect Cream Separator has at last been produced in the New De Laval. Nothihg anywhere near like it has ever been made before and all who have seen and examined it marvel at the great degree perfection attained in every feature of the machine from the supply can to the base. Although the improved De Laval has only recently been placed on the market it is already SWEEPING ALL COMPETITION ASIDE and experienced buyers everywhere are saying of it "YOU DON'T CLAIM NEARLY ENOUGH." The many new De Laval improvements are of almost equal importance with the invention of the separa tor itself and must be seen to be fully appreciated. To this end you may have a free demonstration of the machine in your own home for the asking. Mr. W. P Kirchem, the agent for Oregon City, has arranged with FRANK BUSCH to have one of the machines in his store where the merits can be fully examined and catalogues be ob tained. Someremarkable stories ar being told about town and among the coun try people coming in of this simple home-made mixture curing Rheuma tism and kidney trouble. Here is the recipe and directions for taking: Mix by shaking well In a bottle one-half ounce Fluid Extract Dandelion, one ounce Compound Kargon, three oun ces Compound Syrup Sarsaparilla. Take as a dose one teaspoonful after meals and at bedtime. No change need be made in your usual diet, but drink plenty of good water. This mixture, writes one authority in a leading Philadelphia newspaper, has a peculiar tonic effect upon the kidneys; cleansing the clogged-up pores of the eliminative tisues, fore- lng the kidneys to sift and strain from the blood the uric acid and other poisonous waste matter, overcoming Rheumatism, Bladder and Urinary troubles in a short while. A New York druggist who has had hundreds of calls for these Ingredients since the first announcement in the newspapers last October stated that the people who once try It "swear by It" especially those who have Urinary and Kidney trouble and suffer with Rheumatism. The druggists in this neighborhood say they can supply the Ingredients which are easily mixed at home. There Is said to be no better blood cleansing agent or system tonic known, and certainly none more harm less or simple to use. WE HOLD THREE TROTS! H AJ. 'i.-?- 7i WITH WHICH TO WIN YOUR.
