At a recent meeting of the Mount Pleasant Civic Improvement Society held at the Mount Pleasant school house a large number of enthusiastic members attended. There was consid erable business transacted at this meeting, and It was decided to at once beein the construction of the sidewalk along the Partlow road extending from the Mount Pleasant school house to the Tabor place, one and one-fourth miles. About 12,000 feet of lumber will be required- to do this, and the work to be done as soon as the lum ber on the ground, and the lumber has been ordered. The members of this society have been striving for some time to have this sidewalk built, which has been badly needed. The'property owner, whose property the sidewalk will pass, will meet his own expense. A road committee was also appoint ed to superintend the special road tax work, the committee appointed being C. P. Andrews, Allison Pease and Ward B. Lawton. It is the intention of the Civic Im provement Club to have good roads and sidewalks in this attractive place, and there will be no pains spared to secure these. An entertainment is being planned by - this organization to be given Saturday evening, Feb ruary 22, at the Mount Pleasant school house. A musical and literary pro gram, followed by a supper, will be the main features of the evening. Four new members were admitted at the last meeting of the club. -UliMillilH !""" 11 """" LEGAL NOTICES. QBl Summons. h the Circuit Court of the State of Oregon for Clackamas County, ielen L.
