Notice is hereby given to the legal voters of School District No. 62 of Clackamas County, State of Oregon, that the Annual School Meeting for said district will be held at the county courtroom of the county courthouse in Oregon City, Oregon, to begin at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p. m., on the third Monday of June, being the 17th day of June, A. The will of the late Mrs. Mary Schneider, of Damascus, has been filed in the county court for probate by Max Schneider, who applies to be appointed executor. Mrs. Schnolder died in Portland, Or., June 11, 1904, leaving property valued at ,$1500 In Clackamas County, consisting of the four acre farm at Damascus. She loft this land to Mr. Schneider for life, and It then reverts to her daughter, Bessie May Chlpman, who also received $2000 cash. Mrs. Schneider left $7000 to her husband, and the rest of her estate to her son, Alpheus Hewitt, of Minnesota. Attorney George C. Brow nell appears as attorney of record In the probation of the estate. Rate Fixed for Sprinkling. The Board of Water Commissioners has made a rate of $1 per day for the use of water for Btreet sprinkling dur ing tho summer months. Nothing has yet been done towards street sprinkling this year, but the muter may be taken up at tonight's meeting of the' city council. Last year the city purchased a sprinkling cart and Williams Bros, sprinkled Main sUeet and a portion of Seventh street for the subscriptions they received from the business people. Tho action of the water commission is based on tho fact that there are people In other sections of tlip city who do not re ceive the benefit of the sprinkling.
