Connty Judge Ryan performed two marriage ceremonies Thursday at the courthoase and united in wedlock Mrs. Jennie Newbury, of New Era, and W. M. Dustin, a prominent saw mill owner of that place. Mrs. New bury is postmistress at New Era. Mrs. Sadie Monroe and John Stoker were married by Judge Ryan. The witnesses to the ceremony were Charles Albright and Mrs. E. M. Severe frosts have been reported in different sections of Clackamas oounty during the past week. Deputy Asses sor Nelson was in Oswego several days ago ana spent a night tuere, rising early and finding a bitter frost. In formation was received from Canby that on the night of May 17 a frost occurred that damnged all tender veg etables and killed many acres of corn aud potatoes. Canby melons are a total loss, and the prune crop is in jured, though to what extent is not known. At 5 o'clock on the morning of May 18, the therniometor registered 82 degrees above zero.
