The Committee have a number of other contests under consider
ation, the time for which will be announced from the Committee's
The Parade will be formed promptly at 9 o'ciock A. M., with the
right resting on Main street at intersection of Fifth street. All soci
eties and parties taking part will report to J. J. Cooke, Grand Marshal,
who will make the proper assignments to position.
The line of march will be on Main street to 2d street, counter
march to 10th street; up 10th street to Hill road; on Hill road to 7th
street; up 7th street to J. Adams street; on J. Adams street to 5th
street; down 5th street to Center street; up Center street to 4th street;
down 4th street to Grounds.
Positions will be assigned as follows : x
Grand Marshal and Aids. ; Band, W. O. W.
Company "A" Oregon National Guard. .
Liberty Car with Goddess of Liberty and representatives of States.
Grand Army of the Republic.
Union Veteran Union.
Fountain Hose Company No. 1 . ,
Cataract Hose Company No. 2.
Hill Hose Company, No. 3.
Mt. View Hose Company No. 4.
Columbia Hook and Ladder Company No. 1.
Park P'ace Band; - School Children.
Floats of Business Houses.
Societies and Associations in order of reporting to Grand Marshal,
with their floats, banners, &c.
