The M. E. Sunday school gave a very
enjoyable entertainment Christmas eve.
A lieautiful tree loaded wilh lovely pres
ents ; songs and recitations, with a call
from Santa Claus, who brought several
well tilled baskets of line popcorn balls,
that were distributed to all present,
were the principal exercises of the eve
ning. Mrs. Humphrey led in prayer
and Milo Thompson presided at the
organ with his accustomed ease and
grace. The church was crowded to its
utmost capacity, all going to their
homes feeling they had had a very
pleasant time. Many thanks are due
the different committees for their un
tiring efforts to make it a success.
