Thb Endeavor Convention. The
time for the coming State Convention of
Christian Endeavorer is drawing near
and the work of preparation for the
entertainment of delegates is being
pushed with energy by the endeavorers
of the city. On . Wednesday evening,
April 1st, a grand endeavor rally meet
ing was held at the Presbyterian
church. Rev. C. H. Curtis and
W. J. Arnold from Portland were
present and addressed the meeting, snd

Its cost is estimated to be about $6000.
The seduction suit brought by Nettie
Davis against George Silver ended on
Saturday by the marriage of the parties.
George not wishing to meet his future
