2 in 1 Combination Range We guarantee the Spark Combination Range to give perfect satisfaction, it cannot fail because It is a separate coal and wood range, and a gas range com r bincd In one complete rouge, which takes no more floor space than an ordinary range. The body of the range is cast iron. The fire box is large, has duplex grates for burning coal or wood. The top of this range has four 8 inch covers, and three gas burners. The , oven Is 18x17 luches. Oven door has white en-' araeled cushion panel and thermometer. Stove pipe is behind the splasher back, and splasher is white cn amclcd. The gas oven and boiler sits on nickel plat ed brackets above the raugc. The doors of the gas oven and boiler have nickeled frame with white en ameled grill style front and glass behind It so that the cooking" may be seen without opening the door. The price of the splendid 2 In 1 Range, installed com plete Is - $19.50. $15.00 Down $15.00 Month YOUR OLD STOVE TAKEN AS PART PAYMENT OAmancUj Baos The Steady Return The Cash Grnbafcrla Grocery was the first on the field to establish a store that eliminated all the red tape of soliciting orders at your back door, employment of a bookkeeper to fig ure your account, cut out the any-tlmc-iu-thc-day-dcllvcry and a collector to chase after you to get you to pay your bill. The innovation took from the start and the steady return of the customers tells the story of our ability to carry a splen didly assorted stock of all the good things for the table. You can sense the prosperity of the store the minute you step in to it. It has come because we have given the public what they want nt the prices they want, deliver at a regular hour and deal with yoti as wc would be dealt with were we the cus tomer and you the store owner. Telephone service in Portland is costing some users annually more than do taxes upon their homes, according to testimony offered by the city to the public service comission when the tel ephone rate rehearing was re sumed in Portland, after a two weeks' session in balem. Wit nesses produced by the city not only testified that the rates in their opinion, were unreasonably high, but that in addition, trend of prices was on the downward ana they gave it as their opin ions that telephone service should likewise be on the down ward path so far as prices are concerned.
