Mothers' Day at the Christian church was n high day, the Bi ble school reaching high water murk, and splendid audiences both morning and evening. A and a, for the Sorinir cames. and George school team walked nwav with the silver cup in class 13 The team is composed of: Cap tain and pitcher, Eddie Philips cater o-, Joe Smith; first base and manager. The teachers of George school are giving luncheon on Thursday at noon with the base ball team and their principal as guests of honor. Much credit is duo Principal D. J. Williams for his unfailing enthusiasm and hard work with the team. Re ported. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Russell celebrated their twenty-fifth wcuuing anniversary Sunday, May 8th, at their home on 116 East Mohawk street. The rooms were tastefully decorated with Spring flowers. They were the recipients of many beautiful pieces of Bilver. The guests in eluded were Mrs. Jane Finch, Mr. and Mrs. N. C. Finch. Dinner was partaken of at tho Termina Cafeteria in company with Mr. Huntingdon and Sunt. Ross. Tho committee was taken to the top of the elevator where they had a splendid view of what should be the big Fair site, and trie location of the high bridge at bt. Johns, when it is built. They were shown nil tho inter esting sights in connection with the Terminal and enjoyed the trip immensely. They speak very highly of the treatment accorded them, and wore given an invitation for the Boosters to colebrate Fourth of July at the icrminal grounds. Tullos was advised on Wednesday that the sixth pro ducing well had been brought in on his land, located about twen ty miles northwest of Strnwn. The new well Jb the sixth drill ed on the place and every one has been a producer. This brings tho present production up to.2, 500 barrels on tho Tullos lease. Mr.Tullos' royalty, will be around $500 a day not so bad even with oil at only $1.50 per barrel. Tho lucky owner resides in Strawn. Strawn, Texas, Trib une. Mr Tullos is a brother-in-law of the well known realty man, J l1 uiumorc. The many friends of Charles Crouch will bo surprised to learn that ho has joined' the ranks of the Benedicts. Ho was marnnd to Miss Maudo Iman of Santa Ana, Cal., Wednesday. April 25th, in Los Angeles. They will make their homo in Eureka. Cal.. where Charles has charge of the card room of tho Eureka Woolen Mill. Ho will be re mcnibercd as tho oldest son of J. A. Crouch, former boss carder of the Portland Woolen Mills. and is a brother of 'Mrs. Harry Simmons. He has been residing with his parents in Long Beach, Cal., tho past four years. For a number of years, however, he has been engnged in business in the Lone Star state. His many old time friends will be glad to welcome him and his wife back to good old St. Johns.
