Thompson died at the Sidem Sanatorium Thursday evening of last week, after an extended illness. He was born In the state of Iowa, and was conducting the St. Johns Phar macv when seized with tho ill ness that finally resulted in his death. Hn is survived by his widow, one son and ono daugh tor. Tho remains wero con veyed to tho Salem Crematorium Saturday. Mr. Roy Crouchley and Miss Graco Dickson were marriec on Tuesday evening at 8:110 at the home of tho bride's par fints. Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Dick son in North St. Johns. Owing to tho severe illness of the hrifle's father the wodding was very simply arranged and only tho immediate family, Mrs. Isnhel Davis and Mr. and Mrs. Amrein were present. Tho bride was attired in a pretty blue silk dresa with hat to match. MrB. A mmin attended the bride as matron of honor and Mr. Amrein was best man. The ceremony was nn rformed by Rev. H. I4, Jones just inside the doorway nf tho room where the bride father was lying ill, so that he could witness the marriage.
