ers we proceeded to view the
nroperty proposed to be appro
priated for the opening, laying
out, establishing and extending
of Polk Street and the whole
thereof, and listened to tho ovi-
denco introduced and to the ar
guments of tho counsel and
agents, and we took into consid
eration tho claims of all parties
concerned, and we then deter
mined and assessed the damages
that will bo sustained by the
taking of the property, and of
the benefits that will be derived
by reason of the opening, laying
out, establishing and extending
of the aforesaid Polk Street
That we adjourned from time
to time as follows, to wit:

sight of tho skyscrapers Chief Three
Hears, who is 80 years old offered prayers.
Tho bund was awe-stricken.
Chief Dig Top, tho tribo orator, was
asked what hi tribo thought of tho city.
