She had been confined to her bed for six weeks preceding her death with internal cancer. She was born in Ohio, and came to St. Johns from Kansas six years ago; was married to Capt. II. h. Snow 494 years ago. A husband, one daughter, Mrs liird Shaw.of Seattle and one granddaughter, Mrs. Zoe Wetzel of this city, survive her. His trial will take place at Judge Downs' court tomorrow. W. S. Uasey bus brought the charge. From a care ful perusal of the act we cannot find that Mr. Hill has in any way violated same, and believe the case will be dismissed. His plea is "not guilty." J. S.
