Jones authorized to collect and list all road tools formerly at the Henry Koch ranch and at the old W. J. Schmidt ranch, reporting to the court at its next regular term. Mr. Jones was also authorized to make needed repairs on Ochoco Canyon road from the Jones Mill to the Ochoco Irrigation Dam. Ordered that the following road machinery be purchased from Howard-Cooper corporation: two Little Winner Graders, at 8275.00 each; two No. 3 Fresno Scrapers at 829.65 each; three No. 6 Adjustment Drags at 838.44, the above machinery to be paid for in October, 1918. L. H. Miller was authorized to take charge of repair work on road from Suplee to Paulina. Clerk instructed to satisfy judg ment in case of State of Oregon vs. Jim Bice. Warrant from State Highway Commission for rent of road roller! for month of February, 1918, or dered deposited with County Treas urer. County Court entered into an agreement with Kate E. Warner, proprietress of the Home Hospital, Prineville, Oregon, to care for all Indigent persons, or wards, who may be hereafter and during the life of this contract ordered admitted to the said Hospital by Crook County at the following rates: For all individuals who are able to attend and eat their meals In the regular dining room of said hospital at the rate of 81.00 per day tor each individual. For all persons who will require day and night attention and care, ; at the rate of 83.00 per day.
