The tax levy tor the coming year
was fixed at 5 mills. The ordinance
regulating saloons was passed.
This ordinance placed the license at
$1000 per year payable semi-annually
In advance. The third violation oi
any provision of the ordinance for
feits the license.
Rancher Fined $500.
William Jones, Malheur county
rancher found guilty ot fencing
