A fter w restling for 35 m inutes of a scheduled one hour bout, S a m a r ra gained the first fall w ith n flying toe hold. The titled E ng lishm an was unything but a gentlem an during the e n tire bout and won the second fall to even th e score in 7 Ms m inutes. T he n ex t few m inutes of the bout it was hard to tell w h eth er it was a w restling or a boxing m atch as th e tw o w restlers w ent at each other w ith lefts and rights. This m elee was started by Mills, but the referee stopped the bout calling it a draw .
