T uesday n ights have been designated as ‘m ix er’ nights w ith the courts open to tennis players of d ifferen t classifica tions all over the city. C ourts 1 and 2 are reserved for top flight players; 3 and for interm ediates, and courts 5 and 6 are reserved for b eginners’ play. T hursday nights the courts are reserved for players rep resen ted in the new league organized especially for rep resen tativ es of business firm s and organizations. Tennis instruction as well as play is available on these nights. The M eier and F ran k store is re p re sented b ya group of 20 beginners a t tennis, one of the largest re p resentations in th e recently o r ganized league. N ight play is available to the public a t the lighted courts at G rant, W estm oreland, Laurel- hurst, and W ashington park, as well as a t Buckm an. The Public P ark tennis to u rn a m ent gets u n d er w ay th e w eek of J u ly 16 and reg istratio n for this ev en t closes today. The re g istratio n for play m ust be m ade on official blanks.
