Submitted by Dee Moore Demonstrators clash with Pride attendees Attendees of Keizer's first-ever Pride Fair assembled to form a counter-protest in response to anti-LGBTQ+ demonstra- tors Saturday, June 12. Exchanges between the two groups ran for about 20 minutes before offi- cers from the Keizer Police Department were summoned to the scene on the east side of the Keizer Cultural Center along Rickman Road Northeast. A theft and unlawful use of mace were both reported to officers who convinced the demonstrators to leave the scene shortly after arriving.
