It was the fi rst McNary production in over a year. B ROBERT BECKER Where and how do you volunteer? "I volunteer as the Keizer Heritage Museum Manager. Eff ective June 1, I will begin serving as the Keizer Heritage Foundation Board President." Why do you volunteer? C D "I volunteer because I am passionate about preserving the history of Keizer and making that history more accessible to the Keizer community. Our digital collection is searchable online and we have recently created a new Keizer Heritage Museum website. I also want to contribute to make the Keizer Cultural Center an integral part of the Keizer community." What does volunteering do for you? A: Lilly Purkey. I also get to work with an extraordinary group of people own the Keizer Heritage Foundation board and at the Keizer Heritage Museum. We all share the same goal to maintain the old Keizer Elementary School, preserve its history and make it a place the community can take pride in." How would you get others to volunteer in their community? "All the organizations at the Keizer Cultural Center welcome new volunteers.
