Tribal leaders from the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde and the Confeder-
ated Tribes of Siletz Indians, and Keizer Mayor Cathy Clark, came together at their
Chemawa Station property Monday, Dec. 9, for the blessing, and ground-breaking,
that will lead to the site’s fi rst phase of construction. Chemawa Station, also known as
Area D, is the space south of Chemawa Road Northeast across from Keizer Station.
First up, infrastructure improvements that will support a gas station, a quick service
restaurant and additional tenants.

ta will be riding on a Keizer
