As a defender, Luscomb helped McNary hold opponents to one goal or less six different times this season. She was also second on the team in scoring, netting fi ve goals. Warner led the Celtics with 201 kills on the season and had the second highest hitting percentage on the team. She also added 183 digs and was the only Mc- Nary player named to the fi rst-team all-league squad. Seniors Chloe Martin- dale and Chloe Diede both received honorable mention status. As a middle blocker, Lake Oswego turnover in the fourth quarter when Christopher Cortez got a pick with 7:39 remaining. “They all know what their responsibilities are. When they cover and do what they’re supposed to do, that’s what our defense can look like. They were pretty dominant,” Burrus said.
