Two arrested for possession in Keizer man practicing draw
search of suspected drug house fi res bullet into apartment
A man allegedly selling
drugs from a home in the
400 block
of Chemawa
Road North
was arrested
when Keizer
police offi -
cers served a
search war-
rant on his
J. Boldman
home.
J o e l
Boldman, 45, was arrested and
charged with possession of
methamphetamine and being
a felon in possession of a fi re-
arm on Tuesday, July 23. Anna
Marie Chapman-Olsen, 64,
was charged with possession
of methamphetamine during
the search.
In June, members of the
Keizer Police Department
Community Response Unit
received complaints from
neighbors about potential
drug activity at the home.
They reported multiple peo-
ple were stopping at the home
several times a day and grew
concerned that drugs were
being sold.
CRU began an investiga-
tion and corroborated what

neighbors were witnessing.
Based on that, a search war-
rant was approved and exe-
cuted.
During the search of the
residence, a scale, a small
amount of crystal metham-
phetamine, glass smoking
pipes and a loaded Glock
semi-automatic
handgun
were discovered and seized.
Two children, a 15-year-
old girl and a 16-month-old
boy, were taken into protec-
tive custody and released to
relatives.
Boldman has a history of
prior arrests for possession
of controlled substances and
child endangerment accord-
ing to online court records.
A man practicing drawing a pistol from a holster
fi red a shot into a neighboring, occupied apartment
on Thursday, July 25. A couple and their 4-year-old
child were home at the time but no one was in-
jured.
The incident took place at 7:15 a.m. in the 700
block of Lockhaven Drive Northeast.
The 22-year-old man, who fi red a Sig Sauer
9mm pistol, told police he thought the gun was
loaded with “dummy” rounds when it discharged
through a window of his apartment. From there,
the bullet traveled through the outside wall of a
neighboring apartment and entered the living room
about seven feet above the fl oor.
The bullet ricocheted along the apartment wall,
but was not located by investigators.
Keizer police offi cers responded to the scene and
forwarded the information to the Marion Coun-
ty District Attorney’s Offi ce for consideration of
criminal charges. No arrest was made at the time
the report was taken.
