Whiteaker Middle School (2-0) won its fi rst two match- es of the 2017 season. After defeating Houck 53-45 on Tuesday, Jan. 24 despite giving up a forfeit at heavyweight, the Wolverines then topped Straub 57-36 on Thursday, Jan. 26. Joey Barros, Adrian Cot- ton, Nick Martin, Matthew Araiza, Cameron Parks, Ben Standley, Aiden McCoy, Des- tiny Rodriguez, Gabriel Cas- tro, Chad Croucher, Brady Jackson, Nelson Torres, Reed Hamilton, Aldo Villalvazo, Kayly Montero and Crash Diarmit all picked up a varsity win for Whiteaker in its fi rst week of competition.
