The McNary High School girls varsity basketball team had
ups and downs at the Nike Interstate Shootout over winter
break, but the competition level was fi erce throughout.
The Lady Celts won two games, over St. Mary’s Academy
and Washington’s Skyview high schools, and lost two, to Oregon
City and Jesuit high schools, two of the top-ranked teams in
the OSAA 6A division. The tournament was held Dec. 27-30,
