• Jay Yahudah Corona was born November 26, 2015 at
Silverton Hospital. The baby boy weighed 8 pounds 9 ounces.
The parents are Edward Corona-James and Berenice Sarabia of
Salem. He joins brother Andy, 5.
• Isabella Manuel Piedra was born November 30, 2015 at
Silverton Hospital. The baby girl weighed 7 pounds 12 ounces.
The parents are Jose Gonzalo Manuel and Rosenda Piedra of
Keizer. Siblings are Jaer, 12, Betzy, 9, Amy, 2. Grandparents are
Alejandra Sanchez and Enrique Leyba, Reynalda Garcia Juarez
and Gonzalo Manuel Mendazo.
• Evan Taylor Anderson was born December 9, 2015 at
Salem Hospital. The baby boy weighed 4 pounds 13 ounces.
The parents are Dane and Kia Anderson of Keizer. The grand-
parents are Elizabeth and Al Grabotin of Keizer, Raeann and Ed
Anderson of Turner.

on Saturday, Dec. 19.

efforts are helping bird popu-
lations.
On the day of the bird
count, participants will meet
at a coffee shop at 7:30 a.m.
and, depending on their num-
bers, stay in one group or split
into several.
The counts are only ap-
proximate, owing to birds
fl ying around and other limi-
tations. Counters try not to
duplicate counts.
