Quesnel, went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 9, 2015. She was born in Leslie, Ark. on Feb. 5, 1926, to Jesse and Ora Sutterfi eld. In 1938 the family moved to Woodburn. During World War II she worked in the Hyster factory in Portland. When the war ended she was hired as a waitress at the Club Café by Leo Ques- nel. Leo and Virginia were married in November 1946. In 1948 their oldest son Gregory was born, followed in order by David (1950) and Kent (1956). In 1955 the couple moved to Salem. She later worked at Kel- ly Farquar until she retired in 1991. Leo passed away in 1978. In 1992 Virginia moved from the family home and lived with Kent, his wife Patti and their three girls until her passing. Virginia is survived by her sons and their wives: Greg and Michelle (Bend); Da- vid and Sandy (West Linn); and Kent and Patti (Salem). In addition she is survived by Quesnel eight grand- children and eight great-grandchildren. Her service will be held at Belcrest Memorial Park in Sa- lem on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 11 a.m. A celebration of life will follow at Rudy’s Restaurant at noon. Viewing will be on Fri- day, Oct. 16 at Virgil T. Hattari, 50, of Fremont, Neb. died Oct. 7, 2015 at her home. Cheryl was born Nov. 2, 1964 in Colorado Springs, Colo. to William and Nancy (Dawson) Wyatt. She lived in Walla Walla and Graham, Wash. and received a degree in business from Green River Community College. She later lived in Salem and Keizer. She moved to Fre- mont one-and-a-half years ago. Cheryl was employed at the Fremont Tribune and sold advertising. She was a chaplain for the Marine Corps League. C h e r y l married Greg- ory L. Rob- inson on May 30, 2015 in Fremont. She is sur- vived by Hattari her hus- band, Greg; son, Christopher (Jamie) Hart of Milton-Freewater, Ore.; daughters Nina Hart of Goldbar, Wash. and Cassan- dra Hamel of Keizer; mother Nancy (Ronald) Sternberg of Federal Way, Wash.; sister, Charlotte Williams of Grand, Wash. and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers. Memorial service was held Oct. 13 in Fremont. Memorials may be di- rected to Greg Robinson for a memorial yet to be estab- lished. Margaret Joyce Stabler May 12, 1922 – Oct. 6, 2015 Margaret Joyce Stabler of Keizer, 93, departed to be with her Lord on Oct. 6, 2015, at Salem General Hospital. Margaret was born on May 12, 1922, in Gresham, the youngest daughter of Joseph and Pearl Exley. She had four brothers and one sister. Marga- ret’s mother passed away when Margaret was 4. She was raised by her Aunt Rose in Gresham. Margaret graduated from Gresham High School in 1940, and later attended the University of Oregon. Mar- garet married Frederick D. (Fred) Stabler on Sept. 1, 1946, in Gresham. Their children were born in 1948 (Linda), 1951 (Diane), 1953 (Nancy) and 1956 (Bill). They were married for 62 years prior to Fred’s passing in 2009. They lived in Gresham until they moved to McMin- nville, which became their hometown un- til Fred’s retire- ment in 1980. They moved to Salem in 1980 and eventu- Stabler ally moved to the Ava- mere retirement community in 2000. Margaret was active in PEO and Eastern Star for many years. Margaret and Fred were profi cient dancers and loved square dancing and especially round dancing. They were world travelers. Margaret loved playing cards with their friends and family. Margaret is survived by daughter Linda Stabler, her daughter and son-in-law Nan- cy and Ron Burnett, son and daughter-in-law Bill and Ju- lie Stabler and various nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. An informal memorial ser- vice and celebration of life will occur on Oct. 24, 2015 from noon until 2 p.m. at Ava- mere Retirement Center, 5210 River Road North, Keizer.
