Rotary bike ride Sunday On Sunday, June 28, the Rotary Club of Keizer will stage Ride 45 on the 45th, a recreational 45-mile bicycle ride to raise funds for Rotary International’s End Polio Now campaign. There will also be a 12-mile family friendly route. Riders can begin the 45- or 12-mile mapped routes anytime between 8 a.m. and 9:30. All rides begin and end at the Volca- noes Stadium. Registration fees are $25 per person and $70 for a family of four. The 45-mile route makes a circuit from the stadium to Mt. Angel, Gervais and Wheatland Road. Day of ride registration will take place between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. All proceeds raised locally will be matched two to one by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. It’s being held at the library, located in the Keizer Heri- tage Center at 980 Chemawa Road NE and runs from 11 a.m. to noon on Thursdays.
