C. arrived Wednesday for a week’s visit with her mother and other relatives, while here her old friends and schoolmates gathered in and spent an even ing in playing games, singing and dancing. Elma makes her home in B. C. with her mother’s sister, Mrs. Kent. The ball game Sunday between Silver Creek and Union Hill was played on the home grounds and resulted in a score of 18 to 4 in in favor of Union Hill. Miss Ilene Holman of Salem was a visitor at the W. A. Heater home last week. Mrs. Peter Heater of Silverton is visiting at the Matheeny home this week.
